As a brother of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, I have formed lifelong friendships, given back to the community, and developed my leadership skills. I have had multiple roles on the Assets Committee, which is responsible for the house, grounds, and automotive assets. I was in charge of our fire trucks for two years and coordinated our workdays for one year. During a workday, we conduct multiple projects to improve our assets, which takes weeks of preparation so that all the tasks have adequate manpower and suitable materials to get the job done. I have also been able to give back to our local community through Servants at Work (SAW), by helping to build a ramp for the disabled, and to the greater community through Habitat for Humanity service trips.
